4BEAUTIFULFeb 06, 2013
By G. Depaolo ""The Reader""
Heavy and well made. Gorgeous paint job. I love this figurine. However it arrived with the wings broken off the piece. Sent it back and waiting for the replacement. I wish they would use different packing. The styrofoam is too stiff for the piece and really should be cut out of the foam.

5Beautifully crafted!Apr 10, 2012

What a beautiful addition to my collection! The colors are so vibrant with amazing details from the wings, the painted fishnet stockings to the eyes. This is the first I had ordered of this collection (Steampunk Fairies) and couldn't be more happy with the purchase. Details are extremely important to me and you get that in this statue. The size is perfect, big enough to show detail yet small enough to be added on a display shelf I will be ordering more from the Steampunk Fairies collection. A must for any fairy collector.

3Pretty, Big, Heavy, but partly broken?Dec 31, 2014

Much larger and heavier than I expected, which is awesome. However, I received it with two broken pieces on the tips of the wings. One piece was int he box, and the other piece I am assuming broke off before shipment or packaging. Thankfully it wasn't noticeable because of the colors of the wings, but considering the price, that shouldn't have been like that.

I received this today, May 17, 14 So beautiful, love it. I went back to amazon and ordered the rest of the Steampunk Fairy collection. It arrived in perfect condition and I can't wait to display it. My boyfriend loves it too. I would definitly recommend it. It is as beautiful as pictured and it seems to be very sturdy. I will still be treating it with gentle care. I plan to buy a display case. Amazon...here I come.

5Really Sensational Steampunk FairyMay 26, 2013

Receipt of this Rebecca fairy was REALLY a relief.........turned out to be up to expectations, and it's beauty is similar to the stunning photo in the advertisement. The unit container had a fairly significant crushed lower corner, the type which occurs from being dropped from a height of about 4 feet, there also was a puncture hole about the size of a dine in the other end of the carton which entered into the EPS foam clam-shell insert but the figurine was OK,(Whew!). The point of the bent knee had "funny coloration" not keeping with the product photo, but I'm accepting it reluctantly "as is", etc.

Earlier this same week I also received the Tabitha Steampunk fairy which was just the opposite of the above, etc., and it had to be returned to Amazon! The nice unit package/box was undamaged but both wings were completely broken off the fairy and were banging around inside the box, hitting other undamaged areas! Also, for some really peculiar reason the paint job/detail quality was nothing like the photo(s), unlike the quality of the Rebecca fairy!

The wings on this Rebecca fairy are shipped detached from the body, and, believe it or not, they're held in place with a magnet built into the junction of the 2 wings which contacts a circular shaped disc in a cavity on the back of the fairy. Contact is not the greatest, but it works to hold the wings in approximately in position. An "earth magnet" (much stronger in strength) would be far better to securely hold the wings in place, but at least this way they're not broken off in shipment. If the EPS foam insert had been correctly designed in the first place, or, if the wings had been placed in poly bags, and were wrapped in foam sheets prior to being loaded into the inserts wing cavities (like OTHER figurines we've received) I'm sure they wouldn't break off the body of the fairy, etc. (This would be cheaper than the magnetic approach......but then, I'm not a Packaging Engineer anymore!).

Over-all, if all the Rebecca products are like the one we received I'm confident any buyer would be completely satisfied, I'd recommend this fairy figurine without hesitation.
